Learn the Musical Alphabet
For now think of flats as a different way to name the same note. It’s the opposite of a sharp#. Ab is the same as G#.
Flats are notated with a lowercase b
This will give you starting point from which to find all other notes.
After that use the Octave Shapes to quickly find a note anywhere.
